Okay, so it has been months since I have updated the blog. Perhaps the picture of our typical everyday sky helps you understand why I haven't been on my computer much during Rainy Season in the Sierra.
On one of the days, with computers unplugged and our inverter turned off, we were recipients of a lightening strike. My Ethernet Internet connection internal modem was taken out as was our larg Trace inverter. It knocked our solar system controller wacky too for several days. Thank goodness Tim was able to get that reset and functioning. We shipped out the inverter for a new mother board to be installed and I have a PC card that I am being able to use to connect via an Ethernet cable to our satellite modem for an Internet connection. Yeah, WMI...way more information than you were expecting or needing. That would be me!

This young man is my son -not a grandchild. He shines up really nice, eh? I think he is very handsome here escorting his fiance to the prom. Thanks for sharing the picture with us Lesley and Micah.

A couple views of Charlie
Charlie warmed up to Ethan. He liked that Ethan wanted to take him on walks what with Charlie being an outdoors man himself! At one point after walking a huge city block, Charlie was happy to accept a ride in the double stroller:-)

Ethan and Kaylee visit Grampy and GranJan in El Paso.

These kids really like being outdoors, too. We were able to go to Cloud Croft, New Mexico for the day with their daddy and Mommy. We had a great week with Josh and Rachel.
Charlie thought the kids were great once he got used to them.
Brayden has fun all the time!
This is our third grandchild Brayden Allen Corley, Zac and Alyssa's firstborn.

This little guy has the most fun with his mommy and daddy. He was born December in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He loves the great outdoors -
